It also affects Paralympic athletes, entire programs the philanthropic work they do and it’s one of a very few global opportunities we have still to put our best foot forward and remind countries and ppl that most of us are decent ppl and not the monsters our govt is now

There’s athletes that trained for 4 years for this and should not be punished. But ice should not be allowed into the country. And why would they be involved in any security in another country which makes one wonder with the World Cup and Olympics if there’s more of nefarious purpose for this

They also could possibly offer internal info that could help us take preventive measures to make sure others with the worst intentions can’t hijack a federal law enforcement agency and turn it into their own personal militia. But field agents and their supervisors and chain of command can rot

Seeing the hacked employee list, there are also those that were office workers in operations, IT etc. People that worked there long before ice became a nazi militia who could be stuck in a moment they can’t get out.

Heartbreaking seeing (listening to) the parents on a news program by phone needing to defend their son bc of these lies. The videos show Alex helping 2 women ice was assaulting and harassing. Had to know it would lead to ice confronting him and helped the women regardless. That’s hero stuff.

The two party system has been lamented throughout history. It’s interesting how governments are formed and elected in Europe but there are the same pitfalls as here although I’d like to see serious multiple parties here.

Yesterday, saw some video of some news show that were speaking to the parents by phone. It was horrifying the parents needing to defend their son bc of this administration’s lies. The clips before his murder showed us exactly who he was and that’s a good person. He’ll be remembered a hero 😞

The shutdown ended after Schumer and Jeffries negotiated some sort of deal (payoff) with the tech bros. It was Schumer who found the last few votes to pass that big beautiful bullsh*t bill. The bill gave nearly 29 billion to ice and no one is asking what happened to that money that they need more
