Thus begins the reaping! I was intending to wait a couple more days before I started picking. But I was hedge trimming and disturbed some yellow jackets. Got popped on the thumb twice. It hurts to grip with it, so berries it is. And I found the first blackberry of the summer.

Yesterday's BENMAS! festivities were fun and exciting. I did a lot of driving and visiting. Veto, OH, Parkersburg, WV, New Haven, WV.

After the ceremony, I had to go home and do a chore that required work clothes. Then when it was time to go to the dinner I thought, there's nothing saying I have to put the exact same outfit back on. The tie belonged to my grandpa.
