However, there's a time and place for this genre.
#strangerthings isn't meant to be this type of TV, but you can absolutely tell season 5 was written as if the viewer isn't fully invested... but I am. And it's distracting. It's not a show that should be "half watched."

The women clearly only socialize for the show.
I personally don't want to "root for" any of the women.
Not just BH but most of the HW are so heavily manufactured... what's even 'real' anymore?
And why is Erika still there? I don't want a REAL VILLAIN on my screen.

I am amazed that they haven't fixed spoilers via pushed content. Although a lot of that is on the article writers, who spoil in the headline. I hate that. The film Weapons was spoiled for me that way.

I'm just sad that the show has been declining more and more and is a shell of its former self.
This twist just sucked whatever it had left...
