TfL would need a huge amount to get the Dartford lines up to scratch - new trains, more barrier lines and enforcement - and would have to negotiate sharing access to Slade Green and Grove Park depots. I suspect that its on the too difficult pile, sadly

A very basic station with few facilities. Hopefully this rebuild will see an improvement. I suspect many locals will continue to rely on buses though until Surrey Canal Road station is opened

The last 30 years the divide between the rich and poor has widened. Governments of all colours have failed to resolve this. The Iraq War was just another example of Britain being unable or unwilling to have a different foreign policy to the US.
