This place fills your eyes with grandeur that I feel unworthy to even gaze upon. Thank you for this life, short though it is. We go into California next with songs on our tongue and wonders unimaginable in our hearts.

The fun and knowledgeable people at @elderlyinstruments opened up the vault for us, and here’s a couple of my favorites that I got to play. Thanks to Jake, Benji, and Bruce (who sold me my first National Guitar over 25 years ago). We got there late in the day, and definitely owe them another visit

Enjoying the last warm day of the year w/ some trance blues on the water. The ‘30 National has too light of strings for this tuning, but I’ve been drawn to it lately. Getting ready for the shows this weekend in Bloomington, IN and Cincy! See yall at @BuskirkChumley & @SGHRevival
It’s been a nice little break in touring. Got to witness the wedding of my great guitar tech Benjie, caught a bunch of fish up in MI with my buddy Jim Connor & Capt. RedBeard, received an icon award from @IUIndianapolis and the music program with @analogMatthew!

These fellas are traveling with this “pet” bird. They’ve been all the way from Georgia to NH with it. When they go in somewhere, hotel, restaurant, whatever… it just stays on their Range Rover. Came back from gym at 4am, & it was still sitting and sh1tting there happy as can be.

Thanks for the great time Europe. @zwartecross fest was a great way to end the six week tour. One of my favorite tours we’ve ever done. Now we head home! #bigdamnband

We always love a big tent & @Sjockfest in Belgium is one of the best. We take the ferry to the UK tomorrow to finish the last few weeks of this tour. It’s been one of the best tours of our life & we are so grateful to all who have made it out. Hope you can make it out this month
