Without Pickford we would be doomed. Dyche is fine for an emergency job of getting a team organised and solid, but to progress a team, or the players individually, he just can’t do it.

I can’t think of another club that plays worse than ourselves. West Ham coming in a close second, followed by Leicester.

It has Mourinho written all over it, who will be a massive hit at the club. He’ll love being the underdog against the sky six and the passionate fan base. He’ll spend half the season being suspended but it’s going to be superb. Winning football games will be a great feeling
