I was so confused about this too. After further research, Ja calls 50 "Herman Munster head-ass" referring to the character from that TV series. The article makes it seem as though that's 50's name but it's not lol.

Not mention, stutter stepping after missing the pass. Retreat to the neutral zone, and manage the gap. Nope! Stutter step, let him blow by, reach around and end up skating backwards in the opposite direction.

There just doesn't seem to be any excitement. Maybe that's by design, and 34 is turning into Yzerman midway though his career (the parallels are *somewhat* there). The proof will be the final 4 years of this contract. All they need is to sign a HOF goalie, 2 HOF defense and a few HOF forwards lol.

Historical slow starts notwithstanding, these Leafs look very disjointed. If the identity is to be a forechecking, dump/chase team. They have the wrong personnel. I'll never understand why teams try to turn players into something they're not, instead of playing to the strength of the team.

It sucks how true this is. I started here to avoid political biases. But missed the instant news on the other app, so slowly started adding. Now the depressing experience is here too lol. I'll figure out the "feeds" and try my best to keep this app to mostly sports.

To be fair, 20 goal guy McMann did not show well in the playoffs, despite appearing in every game and playing over 12mins per game (0g, 3a). Joshua scored 4g, 4a albeit with 3 mins more per game in the same amount of games.
