but basically the clinical trial system is very poorly designed and a huge money sink, a system like it is certainly necessary but people put too much signal on lack of clinical trials or failure to reach endpoints. lots of good, useful drugs fail trials randomly or due to financing issues

went to check the original thread and OP is talking about BPC-157, a compound with a fair amount of research showing safe and effective use in humans, though no clinical trials. i'm all for healthy skepticism of genuinely novel RCs but OP seems ill-informed

important story but MPTP gives you Parkinson's immediately (or at least within 48h), not over the course of months (unless you took a small dose repeatedly, which could happen with a contaminated supply)
