Personally I just don't see a point in commenting anymore. The majority of creators don't read their comments and my comment will most likely get buried beneath bots and people making the same tired jokes and observations.

I love playing Ultimate but I can't say I've ever had any desire to watch it. I think the game is at its best in friendlies because people go for risky and unoptimal plays just for style and fun.

I have no real numbers to back this claim up, but as someone who has been a part of the Soulsborne community for a decade I can say with some level of confidence that the majority of Souls players have little interest in PvP apart from the occasional invasion or duel.

It's gonna take a Mario, Zelda, or Smash Bros to pique my interest. New Fromsoft Soulsborne should be a home run in theory, but the reveal of it being primarily a PvP-focused game has killed all of the excitement that I had.

I've always found this take to be kinda silly because the maps are a lot smaller in Gens 1 and 2 so the movement speed doesn't really make a huge difference
