They're just anti-fun mobs to deal with all around.

That's the one major issue I have with MC and that's how aggressive mob spawns are. I hate having to ugly up my base by having a metric fuck ton of lights to keep mobs from spawning all over the place. I've been going the nuclear route lately with using mods to disable Baby Zombies and Creepers.
