Watched Blues yesterday and was already a bit tired before and the film definitely acts as a soothing lullaby but afterwards I was so energized. Stayed up 3 hours later than normal just rotating it in my mind

I've got Aria, Aim for the Ace, and Kaiba on the Q1 watchlist. Trying to make it a Dezaki/Yuasa year. I completely forgot they made a shirobako movie, they really did that for us

3 and the show are just as good. I'll also shout out Nemurubaka: Hypnic Jerks, Sakamoto's latest which is a manga adaptation, again about two 20-somethings 1 blonde, 1 dark haired as they have their misadventures. Slice of life focused with some great musical sequences. Best of 2025 for me
