its a neat case study where mutt feels like Lisa's choice is more interesting and has more to say while taking risks, but Look Outside's choice is the one mutt clearly prefers as a hopeful little optimist. genuinely two games with very different views on "humanity", both wonderfully complex though.

spoilers for LISA: the Painful but it has one of the best examples of this where you're forced to choose between losing an arm permanently or having the antagonist cut off a piece of your daughter. there is no consequence to choosing the latter, no change later on, just the guilt you live with.

theres a certain POWER it gives to horror monsters to NOT show them, to keep them in the shadows, and Lickers are kind of perfect for it but they tend to be majorly overused as just like... a stronger enemy variant. theyre one of the series best and most iconic creations next to Nemesis.
