Had some downtime yesterday in Bend and took a solo hike to Tumulo Falls. 10/10

A look back at a moment alone in a hotel room. This one made me feel some kind of way, even before I saw the image I had captured.

Anyone who’s ever paid attention in history class watching #trump activate the #nationalguard as bait.

Look, I’m very happy about the W notched by Ukraine in Russia, but we should probably talk about a Geneva convention for drone warfare sooner than later, right?

Can we also talk about how we should not be putting White House 2 into a plane designed and outfitted by the king of another country from a region that hates us?

This is how you exert pressure in a world obsessed with money.

Contact the International Surfing Association (ISA) and urge them to STOP using El Salvador for surfing events and championships. Big event coming up in September! Kilmar Abrego-Garcia is wrongfully and unlawfully imprisoned in El Salvador and needs to be freed!

Caught this one of my good friend, Josh. The photo captures the recent mood for him perfectly.

We headlined Red Rocks again this year. It was snowy.

Another couple of wildfire shots. This time from my hometown of St. Louis. I fear this series will continue to grow at a faster and faster pace as the years tread on.

Haven’t been on in a while. It’s probably only a matter of time before I’m off socials altogether.

In light of that, and recent events, here’s a shot of the Amabassador Bridge to Canada in Detroit.

Visited Nashville over the weekend with my better half, and the Bridgestone building loomed over everything we did. Such an impressive piece of structural art.

25th day of the year, and we were out for our first show of 2025. I make it a point to catch every sunset I can on the road.

First show, first beach, and first road sunset of the year. Not a bad start to 2025.

After yesterday, I’m sure we all feel a bit left out in the cold and flipped upside down. But even from the coldest winter slush puddle, new life and growth will sprout.

First shot of the year. This is a table by my front door, and the reflections of the candles on the surface caught my eye.

It seemed fitting to capture a reflection as we turn over a new calendar.

An outsized proportion of modern dictators and their lineages were elected through a democratic vote, and, later, found a way to retain power passed their term

Learning the lessons of the road you’ve already traveled makes the view ahead infinitely more clear.

The city of D.C. has an almost infinite canvas for photographers. We had an off day in the Capitol during our winter tour last year. I snapped a lot of photos that day.

Being on the road about 50% of the year grants me access to some pretty amazing views.

Here’s a shot of the snowy Rockies from last November.

Heard a piece in npr yesterday that discussed Dems not meeting voters where they are. I.e. don’t discuss the legislation like IRA, CHIPs, or Infrastructure bill… and instead say things like, “we are building roads” and I can’t stop internally screaming “EDUCATION, MOTHERF*CKERS!”
