All social change in the US has happen after the church got involved. Yes there are people who worship empire not Jesus. I am not talking about them.

I cook a home cook meal once a week and take it to an organization that serves the homeless. BTW I am hardly the only one doing this. That enables me to serve Jesus and to realize I am hardly alone. There still are Godly servants of God in the country.

Some of us have ancestors who were fleeing justice too. Who were shady or simply violent.
