You have Game Pass. They don't.

If you don't subscribe to Game Pass, I mean that's understandable but that's the benefit at this point.

You also get day one access to all of their games with no waiting or guessing as to when or if ever you'll get them.

They are likely to transition the Xbox platform as a hole into a type of system that is built in and inherent to the PC.

Think of it like a steam deck like experience within the Windows OS that allows you to play all of your old Xbox games and current PC releases.

In which case you'll get it when you get it...

They don't want to spell it out because honestly they don't know and they want the freedom to be flexible to hold on to things in some cases and others push through faster depending upon success rates and such.

If you own an Xbox, play it on Xbox.

If you're even questioning whether you should buy something now or wait, you're probably not the target audience there worried about.

Either you're someone who is buying this stuff on Xbox cuz that's where you play or you're one of the people who have no interest until it comes to your box.

Phil has already said they have no interest in not producing a hardware product and new series of consoles is coming along with a handheld.

They are going to restructure things for sure and I see a PC console hybrid likely what that will be.

You can call it whatever you want, but third-party publishers don't tend to have their own platforms and Microsoft is certain to not give that up, especially when it's the easy intro path to Game Pass proper for 15-20m of their players.

Yeah I've never truly cared myself and even when I was making a bit of fun it was mainly just in response to them always saying "Xbox got no games"

The reality is all I truly cared about was I was getting the games now as part of Game Pass

Sell them to whoever you want as long as I get them there!

A pre-package easy to boot up and use gaming device will always exist...

Will it look and work exactly like the way the console today does? Maybe maybe not...

But the steam deck has proven that there's plenty of room for something closer to the console experience, even if we don't have a console.

They've made adoptions for many dualsense features on PC releases already without issue I doubt it will actually be a big deal plus many people do in fact play on PC with dualsense controllers already.

I suspect we it done in the next 12-15 months for sure!

They can't exactly make money if they're not advertising to us or charging us anything.

Likely again surviving on investments for the hope of profit one day.
