Dec. 7 is not over yet, so I will say that the 1941 sneak attack on Pearl Harbor was a brilliantly conceived and courageously executed operation reflecting the highest credit on the Imperial Navy in particular and the Japanese armed services as a whole.

The creation of the Harris-Cheney-Goldman Sachs axis this fall made it clear that there is no difference between Neo-Conservatism and Neo-Liberalism. Both terms should be retired, and neocons and neoliberals should henceforth be referred to as America Lasters.

I guess a pair of menacing hands emerging from behind a curtain just above the head of a sleeping character is a horror movie trope that didn't survive the silent era because four-poster beds went out of fashion. But they should bring it back. That was a great effect.

Bluesky could stand out by becoming the only social medium that doesn't discourage outbound links. Every other site wants to keep you stuck, but the old dotcom ethos was to encourage discovery by letting people go their way. Bluesky needs something. It's just Twitter without a two-decade head start.

I think he's just attributing Bluesky's technical problems to rapid traffic growth. But because he didn't say that specifically, he's getting dragged for trivializing The Struggle. Bluesky is definitely a refuge for patient and reasonable people who only breath through their nostrils.

Greetings, Snowflakes! I recently discovered in real life that the hype about the Menendez Brothers is true. Apparently, all American women under the age of 30 believe there are circumstances where it's OK to shoot your parents in the back of the head, because they saw it in Netflix.
