Because they hate the govt. supporting people who are struggling. The Puritan work ethic (pull yourself up by your bootstraps) is alive and well in GOP political culture--even though many of them were "born on third base but thought they hit a triple".

I read that he apparently was fined because he violated rules regarding the wearing of the uniform. If it was explicitly stated what he could or couldn't do, then they can fine you. Private companies can do what they want. They don't care.

Yeah, you can tell how grateful they are--by their protesting in the street because Renne Good was NOT a pedophile. But Noem is going to ignore that.

Not a fan of indoor football stadiums, but if they are necessary, this is exactly why I would support them. I'm sure Chicago fans are perfectly acclimated to that kind of weather. I live in CA, so I'd be dying out there. Rooting for the Bears tonight from the warmth of my living room! Go Bears!

The 1st Amendment only protects your speech from the govt. coming for you. If your employer does something like this--they can. Now, his union might fight it if they think they can. We don't know what is going on behind the scenes.e

I believe that is called (checks notes)--winter weather. Minnesota is in the North, and it gets cold there. Very cold. It Water freezes when it gets really cold--snow. Causes black ice on the ground. You know--science and all that. 🤷♀️

I really LOVED my Blackberry. Never had the same feeling ever since, even though I like my Galaxy phone.
