Bicycle culture from Minneapolis. Emphasis on vintage mountain bikes, history and community.

Maker of t-shirts, stickers, patches.
Pics of the Rivendell sport tourer built by Goodrich and painted by Joe Bell as picked.

It was delivered 8-16-04 and ordered 1-5-03. The frame cost $2250 and was assembled by Rivendell. The total cost built and shipped was $3441.

As it sits it’s a very neat time capsule.

My friend Mike gifted me this at the swap. Some big names on there: Julie Furtado, Greg Herbold, Hans Rey, etc.

The plan is to frame and display it @angrycatfish

In the work stand today. Taking off the non-period parts and swapping over to a full Shimano M730 build.

Kato Cycles - Nagoya 🇯🇵
2014 Shop Visit… inside this very normal looking bike shop, if you head up the stairs you’ll find the domain of the senior Kato. While his son runs the main business, the upper area is where he spends his time amongst a vast horde of new old stock goodies.

1989 Ritchey P-20
Was originally purple and displayed at Interbike. Later repainted white by a Ritchey employee who owned it and given incorrect P-21 decals as those were what was on hand. I purchased this at a swap meet in 2020
The fork is a Tange that I painted to match the frameset

⚡️Race Face⚡️
The beauty and brutality of cycle racing.

Geno, Lemond, and Tilford in an absolutely epic image from Chequamegon Fat Tire Fest. Perfectly capturing the concept of rivalry and competition.

Gene Oberpriller with the hairiest of eyeballs and a facial expression that says it all!
