We are saddened to hear about yesterday's pedestrian fatality, a 50-year-old woman in Spring Hill on Pittsburgh’s Northside.

Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends.

✅ Continuing Penn Ave's single inbound lane between 31st St to 22nd St
✅ Installing several pedestrian improvements
✅ Adding a parking protected bike lane

The City says the goal is, "to tackle the safety issues that occur from red-light running, not to capture violation revenue. We are doing this for the purpose of solving for red-light running, and the types of crashes that happen."
