I’m nearing the end of my Animorphs book on tape reread and 1. I stopped reading as a kid far closer to the end of the series than I realized and 2. I’m still struck by how incredible these books are as an adult. I didn’t fully appreciate it as a kid even if I knew at the time they were awesome

I majored in animation, but grew up in a machine shop, worked for theaters as a teen, grandma was a fashion designer, grandpa was a leather worker, dad a sculptor, it was just easier to get into Fabrication and Costuming than break into animation.

I saw a random reddit comment where someone theorized that Pennywise and Mary Poppins were the same species of primordial psychic entity, but Pennywise feeds on fear while Poppins feeds on joy. both of them eat kid emotions because fear and joy are more intense in kids. This is Canon for me now.
