I'm a great supporter of scientists and the work they do in advancing our knowledge. What I don't agree with is the use of animals in experiments,when they don't need to be. Here is a link explaining why the use of animals in research is unnecessary.

You know when you're a kid, some things scare you that when you get older you realise weren't really problems at all? Well for me it was quicksand and piranhas. Yeah those things didn't turn out to be as big a problem for me as I thought.
