This should be a pub or cafe discussion. I don’t entirely disagree, but I’m skeptical.

I have far too much inside knowledge about what used to go on at that paper. Two of my friends worked there and they talked me out of accepting a job offer. Came to New Zealand instead (Although that is a massive oversimplification).

I switched away from the loose powder because half the time it doesn’t get distributed… although to be fair that could be poor dishwasher design.

That‘s spot on when the paper is writing about the actual music, but some interviews and nostalgia-history stories are fine. certainly not all of them.

Guardian reviews of TV drama are shockingly bad. I don’t watch ‘reality’ shows but there seems a clear bias in their favour. Film coverage is almost as bad. Music coverage is mixed. Football coverage is sometimes unhinged and there a way too many meaningless opinion pieces about middle class angst.

That's true, but the Chinese approach may mean they don't have to. The US has long been more about brute force.

I'd say right now it is 50:50... but China is getting there without throwing so many billions at the problem. Long term that could prove more important.

It's hard to know what Google was up to with Pixel. Development would have cost a king's ransom, but it was never properly marketed.
