Trump can avoid the blatant bribery by plane uproar by just having Qatar fly him around for free. Some of the Supreme Court justices think that is just fine. Corruption has reached a level where it has become acceptable.

Every time our country hits a new low, MAGA strikes again. Rewarding a bigot who verbally attacks a child, is just a brief stop on the journey to a sickening destination. We don’t have 4 years to save our country. The second dark ages are not far away. Is there a majority of decent people left?

Trump has modeled his life after The Wizard of Oz. He has no brain, no heart, no courage, hides behind a virtual curtain as he shouts and threatens others, and has flying monkey minions he uses to attack good people.

Why is the Democratic Party not flooding social media and television with ads showing the deaths from foreign aid being cancelled, medical research being cancelled, etc? A prime opportunity to educate voters is being missed. There is a void in leadership.

The last election sent a clear message to the Democratic Party. Trying to make every wrong proposed by the MAGA bigots the primary targets of your candidates is poor strategy. You can’t protect immigrants, pregnant women, and others, no matter how strongly you fee, if you are not elected first.

Are the honorable Washington Post employees who leave going to start up a replacement?

I have to give Putin credit for one thing he does well. Trump was speaking to Zelensky today and you could not see Putin’s lips moving.

I have finally figured out why I am so bewildered by what is happening to our nation . I think I chased Elon Musk down a rabbit hole and wound up in Griftland.

As progressives fret over how to rebuild a diverse coalition, I recommend reading an article in The Atlantic March edition entitled “Stuck in Place.” He concludes that progress initiatives in planning has made it more difficult to move and it is destroying a more pluralistic society.

In my career I represented killers of children and adults. There were different reasons for such cruelty. None killed for the sheer pleasure they got from the suffering they inflicted. Trump and his supporters are a special kind of evil. Sickness and depravity at a level I never thought possible.

It is ironic that the attack on DEI is fueled by social media and fringe politicians who benefited from diversity and inclusion in media. Social media has become a weapon and not a tool to help people to find common ground and better understanding of what we have in common.

I have been spending time the past few weeks writing stories for the StoryWorth questions my daughter gave me for Christmas. That led to looking at family and friend photos. Remembering people and events from years past has provided a needed break from watching
what I believe under
attack.

If Trump wants only the best and brightest in government, he will have to resign and take his cabinet and much of Congress with him. He wants a different DEI; Dishonest, Evil, and Irresponsible.

On “Finding Your Roots” this evening a descendant of a slave said that he wanted to go home and hug his son and tell him he could be anything he wanted to be. I am filled with deep sadness and a sense of hopelessness. Damn you Trump and cronies for taking hope away from so many people.
