Climate scientist, meteorologist, resiliency, legos, snark, cats, horrible person, South Dakota Mines prof. All opinions are mine, but I'll blame my employers for my typos.
Thanks, I just got a look at it. Not the best idea.

Oh my. They DID post the rubric. "Bold strategy, Cotton."
December 1, 2025 at 1:49 AM
How do you DO that?!?!? Imagine what I've missed in boosting my h-index!
December 1, 2025 at 1:44 AM
Because posting the grading scheme would have been a whole lot worse?

He's going to find out what happens to chimpanzees and other cute baby apes when they reach puberty. They'll drop him and he'll finish a hard-to-watch spiral downward. David Hancock put a lot of effort into getting the shooting behind KR, and he's pretty bitter over the wasted effort.

One of Rittenhouse's "handlers" made an honest try to work hard with him to get his education lined up, e.g., GED, and then get him college-ready so he could move on. He became very disappointed in how nobody around him (including KR) wanted that to happen. Hope that's not her endgame, too.

Imagine if the GTA had just reposted the rubric. (I for one would have liked to have seen it.) I suspect the student would have flipped out even more through.
December 1, 2025 at 1:10 AM
I'm assuming that neither was in the professor ranks, but rather was an adjunct or a GTA. The responses were rather cringeworthy and gave the student & the culture warriors exactly what they wanted. They needed to present the rubric and just the rubric. They should have met with a supervising prof.

or Feb 2020?

The statement from NW has them saying that the alumni funds and endowments won’t be tapped for the Danegeld here. They also said they don’t have a plan as to where to get it. This is going to get ugly.

So where are Appendices A and B? Given the text referring to them, I suspect there are some devils in those details.
November 29, 2025 at 2:36 AM
That’s the whole point, though isn’t it.

At least she didn’t use an open bid process to identity a winning campaign and the steal their IP to give to an out-of-state political ally who she thought would get her closer to Trump. .. well.. this time at least. southdakotasearchlight.com/2024/01/08/f...
Former official: Politically connected firm was 'obvious' favorite for Noem ad campaign • South Dakota Searchlight
A former Noem administration employee told legislators that a politically connected, out-of-state marketing firm seemed predestined for selection to carry out a state advertising campaign.

Snidley had an endearing villainous charm, at least. This little tyke is pretty much the unpaid incel intern that Whiplash had to let go on his first day... off a cliff.

This scares me more than my ex-governor being in charge of the whole department.

DOH! Thanks

"A Comey Stop." My grad students have been subjected to those. The stop, harassment and threats are the punishment.
November 27, 2025 at 7:16 PM
They've done it here with Lakota, too (where we're told by out-of-state Blue-Anons [posting from Belarus or Santa Monica] that Noem is making ICE go light on us since it's her "home state." 🙄)

ICE seems to have little training on how to verify who they stop. They're paid by arrest, not conviction.
November 27, 2025 at 7:13 PM
They participated in it. Don’t hold your breath.
November 27, 2025 at 1:56 PM
Talk to the Senate about that. They had ONE job to do. *Twice.*

My entire frigging state warned all of you.

I have to believe it’s a specialized botnet just designed to troll him in retaliation for his Indian food comment.
November 26, 2025 at 5:17 PM
I think the Times is trolling you.
November 26, 2025 at 5:14 PM
And then they turned the feature off I bet.
