As a long time Villa fan (60yrs+), I don't care that Duran has taken the money and run off to Saudi. He has obviously surrounded himself with people who care not a jot about his footballing talent and only see him as their meal ticket. That attitude is no use to the Villa.

I know it's the FA Cup and not a PL match but tonight's match has been selected by the club to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the club and for once, I think that should mean a full team not a B team that has Olsen in goal. Hope I am wrong and it proves to be a great night - fingers x'd.

Best Christmas present from the Villa.

Besting Man City 2 - 1 (2 - nil would have been better).

Up the Villa!!!!

Good goal by Duran but Villa done over by Forest and another dodgy referee's decision. Foul on Rogers in first half was a stonewall penalty.
Need to regroup for next Saturday. Need a much better performance against Man City.

Good win for the Villa.
And a very pleasing sight in the table until 8pm tonight maybe.

Great to see the Villa win and what a grand performance.

Need them to play like that every match, to get back where we were, in the top 5.

On basis most Americans say that are not buying Jaguar cars due to their abysmal faults (in recent years), launching a concept electric car is going to be some sell.

Possibly for the first time ever, I agree with Diane Abbott. The Assisted Dying Bill, is in my opinion a dangerous piece of law. The idea may be acceptable to some (not me and I am in early 70s) but the problems come with framing it to ensure that only the person who dies makes the decision.

I see the Petition is nearly up to 3million.

On basis it doesn't expire until May 2025, more will have signed it than voted in July's election.

Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends and distant relatives.

And no, we don't celebrate it. Sitting down with the Indians means a whole different thing here.

The petition calling for a election to get rid of Starmers version of communism, something I suspect no one voted for in July is gaining 100s of participants per hour.
Last time I looked it was at 1,864,404.

Petition: Call a General Election
I would like there to be another General Election. I believe the current Labour Government have gone back on the promises they laid out in the lead up to the last election.

So the Villa battle to a draw.
If the team that ended the game is our best (on the day) why the heck do we not start with it?
Dougie Luiz was our penalty taker. We had to sell him, but why have we not worked on penalties as he did?

Hope Rachel Reeves held onto the packing boxes, I fear she will be needing them again soon.
Her adoption of Truss economics is tanking the economy and forcing up prices. Another lie was their pledge to stop the constant increases in power costs.
Not going very well, is it?

On the 21st of November, Aston Villa FC were 150 years old.
They were formed on 21 November 1874, by members of the Villa Cross Wesleyan Chapel in Handsworth.
Happy 150th Birthday, Villa.

Kia-Ora Stoma says it makes sense to end the winter fuel payment because many people didn't need it because they were relatively wealthy.

Total tosh.
A great many of those affected, like me, are ex-trade union members, the very people this idiot claims to be supporting.

Later this week the energy regulator, Ofgem is going to announce new energy rates to apply from January and I bet the rates will not have gone down!

Jaguar Cars seem to be trying to commit commercial suicide, just like Boots the Chemists & Budweiser have, by backing the wrong audience for their products.

The people they have featured in their new branding ad are unlikely ever to be Jaguar Cars customers.
