Yeah I mean as much as I'd like to live it up in Cascadia, balkanization of the US would definitely be disastrous for a number of reasons.
As one example, consider how many nuclear silos exist in red stronghold states. 150 silos are chilling in Montana alone, right now.

just testing bluesky's gif compression again... I did this last year and was sorely dissapointed to find there was no gif support and 4K images were compressed to 2K. Looks like I can finally post gifs at the very least.
