The Mariners’ Church of Detroit chimed its bell 31 times today, the 50th anniversary of the sinking of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald. It rang 29 times in honor of the lost crew, one time to honor all sailors lost on the Great Lakes, and 1 more time to honor Gordon Lightfoot.

No Kings 2.0 in Wheaton, IL today - People were clearly upset but very friendly. I was blown away by the numbers of cars driving on busy Rt. 38 blowing horns and flashing signs. Almost everyone was participating.
