It never happens that you are left recoiling at a tackle in the rugby world because a tackler flies through the air and literally headbutts the other player. In the NFL on the other hand, it literally happens all the time . The helmets are the obvious difference in the 2 scenarios.

I've been saying that for years mate. Rugby doesn't have this issue. They learn to lead tackles with the shoulder. The helmet leads to a false sense of security. It's stupid.
