A couple of lapses in judgement here. The second one was choosing a cedar for a Christmas tree.
When I moved out of the city a few years back I started a bit of Christmas tradition - cutting my own Christmas tree. So I'd go over and borrow my buddy's chainsaw and head out to find a nice one to take home. But then my neighbour Steve started complaining about all the big gaps in his cedar hedge.
