IHT will impact many family farms, nof which are barely breaking even due to the lack of a coherent UK food policy.

Your analysis shows a lack of understanding of farming: most of your so called farms of less than 49 acres would be classed as smallholdings (the exceptions being some pig and poultry farms), and 217 acres would be a small farm, not a big farm.

It's less a matter of farmers having to resort to food banks - more a matter of who provides the food. The budget has dealt yet another blow to UK agriculture and food security.
