I started using @tailscale.com after hearing about it on podcasts for a few months. This thing is incredibly helpful. As I switch away from Apple products, having this built in taildrop feature solves one of the big draws of being in apple's ecosystem lock-in. 1 step to send files from Mac to linux

Finally moving off Gmail, so I've been trying both @fastmail.com and @proton.me mail. So far fastmail is way easier to create filters including text within the body, but contact management is quite bad. ProtonMail looks much nicer, has much better contact management, but MANY upgrade ads which sucks

If all the ppl angry about Elon and Trump move to bluesky, & their supporters stay on twitter, won't that just increase the division and a sort of "news echo" where one might think "everyone" agrees about a given cultural issue? Or is it possible on bluesky to find ppl from all sides of an issue?

After using iPhones since the iPhone 3, finding myself regularly distracted by youtube & news, I bought a used pixel 4a for $80, switched sim, disabled chrome, installed minimal launcher. Different solutions work for different people - this approach so far is helping me focus on what I meant to do
