Every ounce of attention you give these types of things is a pound of attention that real issues aren't getting.
Pay attention to what government agencies are being dismantled. Pay attention to whose rights are being taken away. Pay attention to the many pension funds that are being drained.

This is a distraction. It will never happen, and the reps proposing it know it will never happen. This is jangling keys, shiny, noisy "look over here!"s. This is, "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!"

Best thing I ever did. Quit during finals week: too broke to buy, too busy to notice. After the week, I realized I hadn't had a smoke and figured to just keep that up. It was hard, but worth it.
