Alright, I'll allow it. JK. It sounds fun. I just designed a metaphysics of time class I am calling Time Travel for Beginners. Newton and Einstein are definitely part of it.

You just made me think of something: Doesn’t the existence of multiple centers of rotation rule out the possibility that rotation is purely relative? My drill can’t spin the whole room in one direction if your drill is spinning it in the other direction.

I was the last person in line at a *very* long Douglas Adams’ signing. He did NOT want to talk.

What's true of (our current technology of) simulations *in* this universe need not be true of simulations *of* our universe. At least I see no reason it must be so. Someone w/ more math will need to assess the "no algorithm for QG" claim, but since there's no QG theory yet this seems to jump the gun

Physicists Just Ruled Out The Universe Being a Simulation
A question that has vexed physicists for the past century may finally have a solution – but perhaps not the one everyone was hoping for.

I dated a poet for a while. When we broke up, she published a whole book of poems about it. Do not recommend (as an experience; pretty good poetry TBH).
