A path through the trees.

It occurs to me that the resurgence of interest in vinyl records constitutes minor rebellion against the tech lords. As does the continued existence of physical books.

I suppose I’v neglected Steve Cropper. I’m more into jazz. I knew who he was, but didn’t realize how prolific and influential he was. I Like his philosophy of music, and his playing.

If the free market was efficient, there’d be no affordable housing crisis.

Kind of impressive how vigorous Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders are in comparison to you know who.

I don’t know, but I suspect all of the United States is for Ukraine except for Donald Trump and his cronies.

Trump is plainly now not just demented in the colloquial sense, but increasingly in the medical sense. Vance probably wouldn’t be much better, but he probably could stay awake during meetings.

Begun to block gratuitous and unfair criticism of Democrats.
December 3, 2025 at 8:52 PM
Trump doesn’t seem to understand the purpose of medical tests.

Not bashful about sharing my political opinions. But, I can’t think of anything new to say about our current president, and his administration. They’re both incredibly awful in so many ways.

Snow can be beautiful, under the right circumstances. Then you have to drive in it, or shovel it. Ugh!

Somehow I doubt starting a war with Venezuela will earn anyone a Nobel Peace Prize.

Cookbooks don’t talk about American Process Cheese much. But, it makes a tasty omelette.

Snow. First thing in the morning.

Thankful the madness hasn’t affected me or my family and friends.

If Mark Kelly isn't running for president, he should be. He wouldn't be the first potential Democratic candidate who whose profile Trump has raised through his vindictiveness. Gavin Newsom and J.B. Pritzker also come to mind.
November 26, 2025 at 4:30 PM
Trump has always been a bit nutty, but he does seem worse.

Guess I’ll make a pie for tomorrow.

I’m sure I’m gonna get dragged for this, but I think AI is bad. AI has completely ruined Google search and it’s created a lot more slop that needs to be avoided on the Internet.

Under the right circumstances driving can still be fun. But, thanks to traffic, those circumstances are increasingly rare.

I’m for Ukraine because I remember who invaded who.

Ken Burns the American Revolution was quite effective at conveying the brutality of 18th century warfare.

Somehow I doubt the betrayal of Ukraine will earn a Nobel Peace Prize.

Ken Burns The American Revolution is excellent. Sure, it’s an old story, but one we should hear regularly.
