Agree Tanaka didn’t positively impact. He’s not had a lot of recent playing time but that’s my point. That was a single sub & almost like for like. The subs and tactical changes made in the 85th minute could have worth doing at 70 mins when we all saw it likely Everton would score. #lufc #MOT

Possibly but we did make those changes at 85mins which suggests DF wanted to go for the win late on but not risk it earlier. That would have been fair enough but we had the 1st half evidence that when playing positively we were the dominant side. But it’s fine & we added another point #lufc #MOT

Agree. But on the 2nd half.Anyone could see where that was going after 60 mins. Changing system to more in midfield & more up top to occupy the 3 CBs was needed.Who knows if it would have worked? But the fact DF did exactly this change at 85mins & we finished well, leaves a fair question. #lufc #MOT

Good 1-1. DF needs credit for the set up & the way we played 1st half. Better side by a long way. Could & should have been more than 1 goal up. Forced Moyes to match us up & make subs to compete. DF also got system/subs changes right in 85 min. In game management 60-85 mins - not so good. #lufc #MOT

Valuable experience for Harry Gray, local team to an extent. He will likely get starts. Matt Hamshaw is a coach with experience of coaching young players so all good. Only issue is it may be a battle v relegation at Rotherham . But even that might be a good loan #lufc #MOT

Probably not but this yellow has led to a suspension for our Captain as a direct result so it’s worth a try if only to highlight the fact that I would wager it was VAR who told the ref to give it and that shouldn’t be allowed. We should demand the VAR /Ref audio. #lufc #MOT

The ref took a while to give the so called Ampadu hand ball and booking. It’s likely that it came from #VAR In his ear. The fact that it hit his upper shoulder makes it a worse decision as they intervened and still got it wrong. As it’s led to a ban for EA, we should try and appeal it #lufc #MOT

Based on that 2nd half performance up to 75mins- A dominant display that deserved at least the point. Great team goal for our equaliser. Brave in passing out that involved every player touching the ball before DCLs lovely finish.DF might have made JR change earlier.But good team effort #lufc #MOT

Crystal Palace didn’t play well but they should have clocked that we’ve turned into a set piece,long throw, get it into the big lads team. DCL on fire & we have Rodon reinventing himself as an overlapping CB since Farke has seen the ghost of Christmas future.We are tough to play against. #lufc #MOT

Supporters were split on DF. But I think no-one felt he had “lost” the players.We just needed DF to show more flexibility,in game proactive decisions & playing to the strengths of the squad.DF has done this since 2nd half v Man City. All credit to him but let’s hope he stays on that path #lufc #MOT
