They already did this twice in Craig's Bonds (opening of Casino Royale; ending of Skyfall, which sets up all the other elements - male M, Moneypenny, Q, etc). I'd much rather they just get on with it rather than another origin story. I wanna see James Bond 007, not Warrant Officer Jim B.!

I think its reputation has suffered from people presenting it as the "most insane hardcore violent nasty freak gore torture" movie. For me, the most disturbing part is the middle section where she's being dispassionately tortured. The clinical way it's carried out and depicted is genuinely horrific

kojima is def a bit weird about women (at times) but I don't think "women aren't named" is a recurring pattern with him. a LOT of characters just get code names or nicknames across all his games. metal gear has a mix for both men and women
