In a new paper with Dr. Kenneth Ferraro published in Innovation in Aging, we found that older adults living in cognitively stimulating neighborhoods—places with museums, arts centers, fitness facilities, and more educated neighbors—exhibit higher cognitive scores, especially between ages 60–82.
