Couldn't play it because my LGSs were all still doing final fantasy for the first weeks of its release.

Went to a draft they organized on a Saturday morning (with the usual Friday night slot taken by final fantasy). Only 4 people attended.

No interest in FF so kind sucked NGL

Believe it or not there are many countries in the world with more than 2 political parties, and it seems to be a more stable system to me. Bernie isn't even technically a Democrat

They can always have a coalition enough is enough

It's not academic - I know many people that opt for working 4 days because working the 5th doesn't pay enough with the tax system to justify it.

Earn 100k = 20k/week day
On the first 20k you pay effectively no tax, lower rate on the second and high rate on the remainder. Working an extra day on the higher rate your take home pay is only a fraction of your pay on the first day.

100-140k figure is from PWCs tax calculator

If you're earning 100k per year working 5 days a week each Monday you take home 95% of what you earn, each Friday you take home 20%.

If you earn an extra 40k you take home an extra 19k. Depends on your job I guess but not worth it for a lot of people

Thanks for the podcast today
Regional INDs being in opposition after supporting government formation is a bizarre farce.
FFFG was reelected on the promise of being a status quo stable government. Under the table opaque decisions with regional INDs have undermined their very mandate for government.

They don't leave to my knowledge - but it definitely does disincentivise people from working longer hours etc.

Ireland's progressive tax system (if admittedly a too small base) - richest 10% pay 80% of income tax.
