I just don't think there is much evidence that hughes is good at his job. First summer he signed chiesa and mamardashvili. Neither are Liverpool standard imo. And this summer was a shit show. He's built an unbalanced squad and left slot an impossible job.

If Cody hadn't become the focal point of our attack I'd appreciate him a lot more. Him ending up our best attacker is why this season has gone the way it has imo.

I agree. Richard Hughes profiled the wrong players and built a squad that can't compete physically.
