From Wound Care to Skin, Bone & Cartilage Regeneration As we step into 2026, I’ve been reflecting on how far regenerative biomaterials have come and where we are heading next. We started with a clear, urgent problem: How do we help the body heal better, faster, and more safely without relying on animal-derived materials, cells, or growth factors? That question led us first into advanced wound care, where fully synthetic, bioinspired materials can actively guide tissue repair while reducing inflammation and infection risk. Seeing patients heal faster, with better functional and cosmetic outcomes, reinforced our belief that material design itself can be therapeutic. But skin was never the end point. In the vision is to expand across a broader regenerative horizon: Skin: moving beyond closure toward true tissue restoration Bone: addressing defects and trauma with bioactive, load-bearing scaffolds Cartilage: tackling one of regenerative medicine’s hardest challenges, where healing has
