Daffodils are a widely cultivated flower native to Europe, North Africa, the Mediterranean, and West Asia. Planting them in the fall allows the bulbs to harden off during the winter in preparation for late winter/early spring flowering.

I was so stoked to stitch this bleeding heart pendant for a lovely couple last year 💕 Field pics of Pacific bleeding heart were taken by me while doing site visits in private lands up by the McKenzie River.

It also makes a great native garden plant for a shadier area too! It's a prolific bloomer, and hummingbirds love its beautiful pink blooms. My one gallon plant I bought a couple years ago had spread to a wonderful bunch of plants by the following year and just kept putting out flowers all summer!
