trying to make character sheets is a fun until you run out of space. early thoughts are that it will be 4 pages total:
Character info, Pilot stats, BIOMECH stats, and BIOMECH weapons. either way, the goal is to make these easier to navigate and read. This is of course a rough draft for the alpha.

working a bit on some prose surrounding the idea of entering and taking control of a BIOMECH. Thought it was neat enough writing to share here, and dips the player's toes into understanding there is some mental toll to Piloting.

I know the writing updates are not as cool as the art ones were, but while waiting to test I started actually working on the test mission and writing more than some notes only I know. This is planned to release alongside the full alpha release, and expand to a full adventure for the full release!

If this hits 120 reposts, I release the itch page early with a download to the most recent version. Pre-alpha release and you don't have to pay shit for it, you get a .zip with .docx files and that's the game. (:

also, despite this being a TTPRG, friends kept making the comparison to 90's game boxart. I was provided the layers to the piece, so there are minor adjustments to make it fit the format.

HI! Been a minute, been real busy with life.
Great news, there has still been lots of progress despite it all! V0.5.2 was tested, and v0.5.3 is mostly complete!

I'll tell ya what is complete though...

I also had a tester note how there wasn't a place to learn about species in the game, so I wrote quick blurbs for everyone that can be found in one place. These aren't final, but this is what things are like for now.

...have you guys seen character sheets yet? Well, they're function over form, to say the least. They'll shape up as I develop the game, and I plan to work with someone to make them look far better than I could on my own.

The holidays keep clinging to my ankles and slowing me down, but I had to develop a new weapon just a little early to V0.5.1, cause it really fit one of the new test characters (more on that later)

Anyone else like AC6, btw? Still thinking about that game.

Back to work today, and it starts with getting characters ready for v0.5.
Next version is gonna add a lot of additional items, weapons, and mods. Mods are starting on character sheets. here's a peek at the first of many to come.

Just so you have something to look at, Burning and Blood Loss underwent a few changes. Both now have more player agency to deal with the issue, but have lasting consequence.

I also would like to provide an *EXAMPLE CONTRACT*. This of course will be more detailed and have more tweaked information on agreements between myself and the artist, including deliverables, timetables, etc. when I finalize it with the chosen artist. But, here is some of what you can expect.
