Sanity, could be a reason to study life and death. Insanity, simply knowing the difference between right and wrong can be a result of malpractice in teaching or parenting. There is no need to be an expert in the research of life and death, but competency is good.
Medically diagnosed disabled people are not the Retards. Retards are those individuals that pass as normal; however, they exhibit unusual behavior they think is normal. Helping them with this undiagnosed problem, we tell them they are retarded and we are moving on.

I don't think I'm better than other people. I was raised not to care what other people thought of me. It limits my interpersonal value judgement. I can sense that dynamic, but it feels like an alien thought. I don't take flattery well.

An odd reality. The government invests tax money for the people. Now, if for example we just value the Whitehouse at one dollar per citizen. Then the citizen is worth at least one dollar. Then we can estimate the flat value of citizenship. We can then apply to official decision making.
