Haven't posted in a while. Family got sick and then spring break happened. So no progress to speak of except playing with some in helmet illumination. I'll start texturing this week since the kids are back in school! Hope everyone else is feeling well.

The helmet's done and Gemma looks great in the suit. Well, almost. I need to figure out how to comb her hair so it fits in her helmet. lol A few more bits of detail around the suit, then it's off into Quixel Mixer for texturing.

Meet our protagonist, Gemma. This is one iteration of the character that players can choose from. She's seen a lot. Her partner has passed, but she's carrying their ashes across the galaxy to fulfil a promise.

Modeling on the chest armor of the space suit continues. The front has a flashlight, and a camera. The back has a nifty little booster ring that will offer a double jump capability across any perils our players face. Not sure if I will move up and do the helmet next, or the utility belt.

I'm starting my first journey into making a 3rd person RPG. This is my first attempt at making something outside of Fortnite creative. I'm especially excited to use cutscenes to tell a story. Right now I'm modeling a spacesuit for the player character in Blender.
