"Guess you're the brains of the operation then," Baxter replied, "Long as you don't lose your shit, anyway."

"You feeling any better now? I see you regrew your body. Must of been painful."

"Heh, do you normally have men interrupt your showers?" he asked, the sassiness coming back. Seemed he was starting to feel better.

He glanced up at her and his glass were all fogged up so whether he could see her nakedness or not was for him to know and her to find out.

After a moment of desperate panting, Baxter was able to speak.

"Ah, my a-apologies," he said, "One of my experiments went a little wrong and I quickly dehydrated. Your shower was the nearest running water source. Ah...."

He yanks back the shower curtain, looking desperate, and he doesn't even seem to notice that she's taking a shower, he just dives right under the spray with a gasp, soaking himself.

Seems the little fish was drying out.

"I adjusted it specifically to your biological makeup so it should cure you instantly," he said, chest a little puffed, hands behind his back. He seemed proud of himself, almost smug.

"You're welcome."

Passes her some medicine.

"Your bank records beg to differ. After all, Val doesn't mange his funds very well, does he? Someone needs to take care of that for him and it certainly isn't Velvette."

"Scientifically speaking, I am the one who incubated Shok.wav as an embryo and raised him; you just paid the bill," Baxter replied, adjusting his glasses. He smirked.

So he approaches, from behind, steps up on Pentious's lower half just to silently hug him from behind, arms around the serpent's middle.

"Idiot," he mumbles.

"This song is only for you, dear," he said, "I'm glad that you liked it. Nothing is to strenuous when you are a genius, but picturing your smile made it all the worthwhile."
