It's weird to think pearlmethyst is considered a rare ship now. it's like the second b*smuth had a crush on pearl everyone latched onto that... as if like nearly half the fandom didn't have a crush on pearl

think often about how the crewniverse labelled #amethyst as being like Steven sister but gave each of the crystal gems a clear human parallel representing different types of mothers :/

A memory just surfaced for me from early in the #stevenuniverse fandom of someone who had overlapped the tracks Im still here and amalgam. finding a part of amalgam at the end of im still here. was huge evidence for #pearlmethyst becoming canon back then. the music motifs in the show were super neat

Finally took the plunge and made a blue sky account! First time being back on any social media since 2020 (been good for my mental health) so will be super interesting to jump back in rather than quietly observe. We'll see how it goes
