White Campion - I don’t see it near my home in Worcestershire other than in a small section of verge in Timberhonger Lane in the same place for the last 30 plus years - this year still in flower quite late today #wildflowerhour

When Elm was plentiful they must have looked magnificent this time of year. These in the hedge on the farm get reasonably tall before Dutch Elm decease kicks in. Still look gorgeous tho

12 species of 19 moths in a soggy moth trap recorded at Upper Hollowfields Farm, North Worcs last night. Highlights & new for the farm were December Moth, Hemlock Moth, Lead coloured Tortrix, Dark Chestnut. Most numerous the ever delightful Feathered Thorn #teammoth
A couple of nicely marked Red-green Carpet, White-point and 3 Tachystola acroxantha was all last night in our garden in North Worcs VC37 #teammoth

At Upper Hollowfields Farm, North Worcs this year, the moth list increased to 233 species, Butterflies to 29 with White Admiral new for the farm. The first Brown Hairstreak recorded was earliest ever seen there on the 13/7. Little Egret also for the first time. #teammoth #worcsbirds #ukbitterflies

Recording moths started this year at Rush Farm (of Archers fame) in North Worcs & the list will finish at around a modest 140 species. It’s a long term project though to help inform nature friendly farming. I’ve already recorded some interesting species. #teammoth
