Its probably just the algorithm because I dropped everything to check it out when I saw it LOL
and I agree! Everything feels so much cleaner and more honed than your other videos and its rad seeing you improve at storytelling!

its pretty fun! my only issue is that the clipping layers are weird, but you just needa have the layers be in groups for them to work! its like ctrl + g to group them I think?

hi :D I use krita but I haven't used photoshop, though I can recommend it really well either way because its free, doesn't take long to set up and Id recommend trying it at least once lol

they just edit the normals of everything to face directly upwards so it like, blends in with eachother or whatever? Its a neat trick but the video couldve been called literally anything else LMAO

another thing that Ive been learning that helps is player state machines! it can organize the way the player controls and make it really easy to modify and add more moves in the future! :D
