That’s 100% fair! I was so turned off hearing that. Having watched it, realizing they used it for an image that shows up for like less than two seconds, and then outwardly apologizing makes it easier for me to swallow.
Regardless, it’s a boneheaded decision that sucks.

HOUSE - This was showing as part of the local art house late night series. Went in blind and oh BUDDY I was not prepared.
Live action Scooby Doo-ass slapstick horror by way of Japan. Definitely elevated seeing it with a lively crowd who rolled with it.

Hell House, LLC. II - This one happened to be on Shudder, and I got a lot of enjoyment out of the first one. Also the goofiest possible name.
Round two feels cheesier and cheaper but in a self-indulgent way. More background noise than banger, but still some fun to be had.

Between Two Fires - Kicking off with some horror lit that’s been on the radar for ages. So far a breezy read with the backdrop of a medieval plague and an unholy war. Big, brash dude pairs with prophetic little girl - as expected, pilgrimage and demonic shenanigans ensue.
