But the individual user does not get automatically opted in, see? This is what happens when you click one of those options next to an image to muck it up with AI. It asks for your permission. I think there is a difference between end users and server admins.

Yes, sometimes discord annoyingly makes new features opt-out instead of opt-in. Not the end of the world, just a normal thing administrators of any server have to deal with from time to time.

Also very true, they can just sell the data directly, why would they waste resources on going out of their way to hide bots in this way?

Yeah, I don't disagree with the concept of banning beforehand, but the claim that they join without any evidence that they joined is kinda hard for me to believe. I found only 1 out of the 4 bots in our 13k+ member server and the join was logged and the bot was invited.

What evidence do you have they silent joined? We have a log of everyone that joins, one of these bots was in our server because someone invited it to the server and it shows that it joined, see?

Yes, forgot that specific detail. Either way, the concept you showed off will require a fork of Main and of the framework for at least this one core you are targeting.

The OSD for the PS1 core comes from the framework though, so you would be maintaining a fork that has different behavior than the other cores, etc...

OSD is both fpga side and linux side combined. the buffer for the size of it and stuff is in the FPGA framework side, the information displaying is mostly handled through linux, colors are in linux too

He's already asked us about how we update all the cores in discord, asked us for advice in this kinda way so yeah, he's probably forking all of the cores if I had to guess.
